Benjamin
Weissman is an artist and writer living one mile from Dodger Stadium in the city of Los Angeles.
This year and last he has exhibited drawings and paintings at Galerie Krinzinger in Vienna and at
Christopher Grimes Gallery in Santa Monica. He is the author of a story collection, titled, "Dear
Dead Person" (Serpent's Tail); he teaches writing and is a Graduate-Advisor in the Department of Fine
Art at Cal Arts and Art Center College of Design. His writing has appeared in "Artforum", "Bomb", "Los Angeles
Times Book Review", and "The Voice Literary Supplement". Mr. Weissman is editing a fiction anthology,
titled, Astroid Impaired: Righteous American Fiction, Volume One. In order to live a complete and
balanced life it is important to note that this contributor skis the deep and steep 50 days a year at
Mammoth Mountain with his alpine pals Paul, Damon, John, Lisa, Wendy, Carl, Elizabeth, Kevin and
Hersh. He is also at work with aritst Paul McCarthy on a 365-page book about a year in the life of
a strange kid.
